Turtle Brownies
1 (14 ounces) bag Caramels 2/3 (5 ounces) cup evaporated milk 3/4 cup butter, melted 1 box (18.5 ounces) chocolate cake mix 1 cup nuts (Walnuts and/or pecans), finely chopped 1 (12 ounces) bag chocolate chips
Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan. Preheat oven to 350 °F. On top of a double boiler melt caramels with 1/3 cup milk over low heat stirring until smooth; set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine remaining milk, cake mix and butter; mix well. Stir in nuts. Press 1/2 of cake mixture into bottom of pan. Bake for 6 minutes at 350 °F. When ready, sprinkle with chocolate chips over crust, top with caramel mixture and then dot with teaspoonful of remaining cake mixture. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool completely, cut into bars.
